The SMCCU centre is located on Al Musallah Road in Bastakiya, Bur Dubai, between the Al Fahidi round-about and Dubai creek. Close landmarks include the British Embassy on Al Seef Road, the Ruler’s Court and the Dubai Museum on Al Fahidi Road.

Driving directions: driving north on Sheikh Zayed Road, follow the signs to Al Maktoum Bridge, then to the Ruler’s Court. You will drive past the Karama Post Office on the right hand side and then dhows on Dubai creek as the street becomes Al Seef Road (D84). Follow this road until you reach the round-about at the end; you cannot go straight as it becomes the private entrance into the Ruler’s Court. Instead, turn left at the round-about and immediately right into the public parking lot adjacent to SMCCU.

If you approaching SMCCU from Al Wasl road, drive along Al Wasl Road towards Sharjah. Continue straight on past Al Dhiyafa Street, as Al Wasl Road becomes Al Mina Road. Continue straight through two sets of traffic lights and then turn right onto Kuwait Street. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Al Mankhool Road. Keep going straight through two more sets of lights, going straight through at the round-about. The Sheikh Mohammed Centre is located on the left hand side immediately after the round-about.

Parking: the car park directly outside of the SMCCU is public, but often full. The best alternative is to car in the public car park along Dubai creek, directly opposite the British Embassy. Please note: this is a paid parking area, so please check the posted rates.
